Krillion Leaderboard Privacy Policy
This policy explains the information processed and stored by the Krillion Leaderboard Discord bot.
Information processed and stored
When a Krillion result is submitted in the Discord channel configured for the bot, Krillion Leaderboard processes the message to determine whether it contains a valid Krillion result. For recorded results, the bot stores the Discord server ID, Discord user ID, Discord display name, Krillion puzzle number, submitted score, Discord message ID, and submission timestamp.
How the information is used
This information is used to record Krillion results, prevent duplicate submissions, display daily and overall leaderboards, calculate player statistics, identify score records, and support score correction or removal by authorized server administrators.
Message content
The bot examines message content in the configured Krillion channel to detect valid Krillion results. Messages that do not produce a recorded Krillion result are not added to the bot's score records by the score-recording behavior described here.
Data sharing
Leaderboard information may be displayed within Discord to members of servers where the bot is used. The bot relies on Discord to provide the Discord interactions and messages necessary for its operation.
Retention and deletion
Recorded score data may remain stored for leaderboard history. Authorized server administrators can remove individual score records using the bot's administrative score-removal feature.
Security
Reasonable measures are used to operate the service securely, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Changes
This privacy policy may be updated when the bot's data handling or features change.
